This is a discussion on kh440's thoughts within the Venting forums, part of the Feeding the Fire category; We all have that one person for whom we will always have feelings, no matter what....
I wish I knew, that's what I'm trying to work on in therapy with marginal results. I know I have gross insecurity issues, inferiority complex and a crippling fear of rejection/abandonment. Just don't know how or why I got to this point.
It seems many have a degree of insecurity issues and no one wants to be rejected. Though I guess the difference is how people compartmentalize/hide them away from others. Most likely any sort of poor set of relationships or constant terrible social/team dynamics would be part of it. Ironically, other people who make you feel that way usually are projecting something or fear it more than you even when they have nothing to worry about. I'm sure others would have a better opinion.
^ Of course I am going to fail at this but will try....
I would feel shitty if I were to face a hallway full of dog bombs and had known who did it, but would feel even worse if I didn't collect them and place them in a bag with a sticky stating "return to sender" just outside their front door. XD :P ok that was a serious FAIL.
Sorry, I wonder if ok to ask what brought upon this profound quote that day?
This was courtesy of my 12 year old golden retriever who sometimes gets freaked out by thunderstorms. Plus he doesn't want to go out when it's wet. He forgets he is a water dog. But he is cute so he can get away with it.

Unfortunately father time is catching up to him. Has trouble getting up and climbing stairs, plus he's a lot more gassy than he used to be but given his age and the fact he cheated death once already he's doing well. He ingested anti freeze back in 2005-2006 maybe and three different vets were amazed he's lived to tell the tale!

But at least he still plays with you and keeps you company :)
Do you sometimes have to carry him around when he is having trouble?
It is amazing that he survived the antifreeze incident.
He sleeps and farts a lot, mostly due to the meds he has to take. Needs a boost getting in and out of the truck when he goes for a ride but all factors considered he's doing okay for his age at least.
