Here's what happened today. The DA asked me to tell her what I wanted to see happen to him; I said I'd like 40 yrs, since this is a Class C felony & 20 yrs each count. I said being realistic with all of this, 5-7! She told me that they're going to offer him this; tomorrow at the Pre-trial. 10 yrs, with 3 of the years in Prision & the other 7 on Probation. Personally, I wasn't pleased! She said that she has what they call a Speed Trial on Monday, take presidents over this one; has to be done within 90 days. Then they spoke to my daughter; nothing much she said was stated. They said that they would contact me tomorrow to inform me of his decission; guilty or not. IF he takes the DA's deal, there's a sentencing trial, then I would get to speak directly to the Judge & pled for MORE time; the Judge will make the finall decission though. I wont know until tomorrow what he's going to do? The DA's trying to keep her out of the court room; so that she doesn't have to see him; yet alone testify against him. That's all for now.
