Was just thinking about it today. I think I've had 7 therapists over the last 9-10 years. The first one might've lasted a year, but all of them since have been about 2-3 months with a couple exceptions.

I'm on number 9 right now

In the last 9 years, I had 4 therapist.

In the last 3 years, I've had 2 therapists.The first of the two moved to another state, so I had to leave. I don't count 2 others in between because I went no more that 3 times.

I allegedly had my first therapist, 10 years ago, but I completely blocked the experience out. I pulled away from therapy and psychiatrists around that time.

To be honest, I wish I would have stayed in therapy. I could have avoided a lot of mistakes and been happier, but I didn't trust the process after the bad experience before. I pretended like I was okay for a very long time, before I got help and the impacts were big. I could have avoided some of them.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who has been through more than 1.

Technically 4 over 14 years, but I only saw one of them as a "one shot needs help now" moment and another as pretty much the same. So two more than just incidentally and I've decided I'll be up to 3 more than just incidentally and 5 total soon...

I'm up to 8 now. The last one only lasted 2 weeks.

I've had 5 psychologists and 3 psychiatrists over the last 10 years. All but one were shit. I'm about to try a 6th psychologists after giving it a break for about 2.5 years or more. I hate having to start all over again with my story and risking the fact that they will just be as shit as the last.
