I’ve had that feeling before too. It tends to happen when nothing new happens in life; the days turn into weeks, the weeks months, and the months years. In retrospect it feels like it goes by so fast. On the other hand, when something new happens it helps to prevent this feeling - I think different experiences help to punctuate our lives. Is this a recent feeling you’ve had, or have you only begun to feel like this since the pandemic started?
What makes you think those two people aren’t your friends?
I know that it can be hard to not have been in a relationship yet. I myself had never had a girlfriend at your age, and after that I had believed it was “too late” - but it never is. I met my first girlfriend when I was about 22 or 23. Have you tried asking a girl out before? What do you think is preventing you from entering into a relationship?
