Hi there, living years. Yes you are right - it is very very important to find peace.
I wonder, though, if peace is not really something we "find" all of a sudden, but something some of us have to create for ourselves.
I feel for you, facing coerced marriage. That definitely robs a person from their sense of peace and freedom - two very important human needs.
I don't want to sound like I'm giving simple advice to your complex situation. But I honestly believe peace and freedom are things we have to work at. I see people who have everything materially - and yet are miserable. And I see people who have nothing - and yet are so content. What is that about? I am inclined to think the content people have found a way to create a sense of peace and freedom for themselves.
All I can say is I honestly hope you don't end your life. It might seem like the answer, but all you end up as is dead. Then there is no opportunity to dig in deep into yourself and find your strength and your way to create peace within.
When you put aside all the things that cause you fear and pain, can you think of something that makes you feel inspired? Alive? Hopeful? Might it be art, or music, or nature, or emotional connection with someone you trust? That could hold the key to what brings you a sense of peace ... and maybe even one reason to hold on and keep exploring the strengths inside you and the opportunities around you.
From my own experience, I refer to that line from the movie, "Shawshank Redemption" (and story by Stephen King): "Get busy dying, or get busy living." Really, when I am at my darkest moments, it comes down to that for me. I force myself to think of one thing that gives me a bit of strength to keep living, and then start working my way out of the darkness using that one thing as the light out of the tunnel.
Life is hard, and has so many struggles, for so many of us. I hope you find one little tiny thing that can light your way out of the darkness, and lead you to an island of peace that waits for you.
