Laughing. Watching a movie that works with my mood, sometimes it helps get those emotions out.

I will also bury myself in personal research, to inspire idea's.

Make lists.

I just don't want to be alone anymore. That'd be one good thing. Also not being torn down by the family and my psychiatrist (who, for the record, I'm convinced just sees me as somebody to browbeat and get $75 a month off of) would help, but that sounds like “cutting them all out of my life entirely”.

Allowing myself to be angry at people who mistreated me. I know anger isn't a positive emotion. I never enjoyed being angry, but I do prefer anger to depression. When I was angry, I didn't internalize all of my feelings. The depression was more bearable for me. I wrote down my feelings so I wasn't destructive. Once I felt better, I would watch tv or look for something funny online. It was still there, but it was like I numbed it.

I know this isn't the best response, but when I was depressed, this helped me.

the most urgent thing that would make me happy is time travel so I could go back and avoid pouring orange juice in my coffee instead of milk.
long-term term happiness goals would be to utilize time travel for larger aims than saving a cup of coffee and...umm....world peace or reliable insomnia cures

good friends and family who understand and love me, and happily receive my love.

and sometimes, not telling any of my loved ones when I am going through a deep dark hole because them not knowing can provide me the relief of sharing carefree time with them.

smelling the wind, and marveling at the beauty of a blade of grass, or a drop of dew.

reading and participating in all the loving support on this forum.

and reading loco's posts, because, loco, you can make me giggle almost any time! Thanks for that!

Two things: a permanent job opening so I don't have to worry so much about what happens when this contract ends; and to have someone who will, when stuff starts hitting the fan, take my hand, look me in the eye and say "it's going to be okay, WE'VE got this!"
