Smile I come here to cry.

I have been using this service for long enough that I don't remember when I started. I was bad for a long time recently. Longer than ever before. I got through it, and I credit this service for helping me through and allowing me to get the pain out.
Now,
I come here to cry.
I will never be rid of depression, and for me it yoyo's up and down. Because I feel good now, does not mean I will feel good tomorrow. And if i was sad, tomorrow I could feel better. But only you understand. And I thank you. I always felt like I was alone.
You are not alone.
We are all here.
Be strong.
The only person that truly loses is yourself. You are worth more.
Be safe.
The world is better WITH you. And, in the times that you feel like that simply isn't true... We are all here.
Fighting.
With you.
Because YOU matter.
Take care.
Much love.

That is a beautiful message. I'm new and don't want to intrude on anyone but this was just what I needed to read. The human brain is both a wonderful and terrible thing and it's a battle to recognize when it's working against you. Depression can distort reality and I savour the rare times I can see that.

I too am new here and your message is one of hope. I too suffer depression, last year I didn't believe I was going to survive but I did. Yes there are good days and yes there are bad days.

However I always think that depression is a little like the weather, somedays the skies will cloud over with darkness and the rain will fall but then after the storm passes the brightness of the sun returns if only for a short time.

A politician, John Bright, in a speech at Birmingham (1867) said;
Don't commit suicide, because you might change your mind two weeks later.
