Field hockey, gymnastics and cycling
I selected 'hockey' as part of the poll, but i am assuming that hockey meant ice hockey, but we do not play ice hockey in Hockey, and I am more into field hockey than ice hockey, and had played it for about four years back when I was in high school. Although these days, I have not watched or played field hockey for a number of years now and have gotten more into the gymnastics (watching, not participating) and not just to look at the girls, but rather i enjoy it because of the graceful and artistic nature of the sport.
Cycling is also one of my favourite sports, and am an avid viewer of the Giro, Tour de France and most other cycling events, but I also have an affinity for ski jumping as well as the lap-timed ski events. Since we do not get snow in this part of the country, and Winter sports airs over here during the middle of Summer, I find it enjoyable to watch, because i suppose it is psychological in nature to see Winter sports in 30+C temperatures (day or night) and the mere thought of watching it on the telly and seeing the cold conditions in which the athletes competes acts as a sort of placebo effect on me, which helps me cool down a bit.
