Default so i tired runing today for the frist time in a while

ok so i apparlty am interested in trying out runing in fact i tired today but sadly i did just as badly as i expected it was kind of my frist time in a while infact i cant rember the last time i was in a postion where seriously wanted to take a run like that. anyways i did really badly i felt like i could not last more then well 1 min i last barely 2 before being out of breath and lightheaded and tired and everything so i stoped and walked back home and now i feel like i am a failure because i hear people who can run 5 miles a day sometimes more before feeling that way and some girl told me when she was 13 she manged to run 30 hours+ before stoping and that just made me feel even more pathetic about myself cuz i cant even last 2 min and i am so depressed that i dont know if i can do it because if i am stoping for 2 min or less that just opens me up to give up later on and it only gets harder from here and like i said i can barely last 2 min. and it just makes me feel shity all day i dont think i cared about anything else but how much i disspointed myself today and how much of a failuare i am.

Don't be too hard on yourself! If you could pick up running and have no trouble the first day then you would be some sort of human phenomenon. Try just walking next time. Try to run a little, and when you get tired walk. Give yourself a reasonable distance and just go back and forth from running and walking. Be patient with your body. Don't blame it on yourself being a failure or anything like that. It's just your body needing more time to physically be able to run. I say kudos to you for having the motivation and trying it. Don't give up!
