Default Premier League Champions 2011

Manchester United yesterday clinched yet another Premier League Championship when they drew with Blackburn Rovers. I have been a fan of United since the George Best era of the mid 1960s when the club's fortunes where much leaner. I'm a happy pooch today though.

That makes a record breaking 19th time as winners of the top flight of football in England, eclipsing Liverpool. 12 of those titles have come since the restructuring to the current 20 team Premiership took part in 1992, all under the management of Alex Ferguson.

Ryan Giggs has been an ever present influence on the field since his debut in 1992. Hard to believe that he has won 12 title medals and at 38 years of age still has no notion of retiring. What a role model for young players!

I'm a Blackpool fan and we're playing you for our opportunity to avoid relegation. im hoping fergie will play a weak enough team (saving for champions league) that we'll be able to maybe knock in a couple and stay up on goal difference :P opinion? from what i gather most people want blackpool to stay up, they've worked damn hard to get there and Holloway is just such a character :D

I hope that Blackpool do stay up as I like the adventurous, attacking style of football that they play.

I think that they will beat Man Utd, not just because Fergie will put out a "weakened" side (and probably get fined by the Football League), but also because Blackpool have something to play for - United have won the League so there is no incentive to bust a gut.

I would say that Blackpool will win 1-0

I am a United fan as well, and I would say that United will win 4-0 or so. (Sadly, I wanted Blackpool[and West Ham...] to stay in PL)

Fergie said it was a mistake to rest a lot of players before the last Barcelona CL Final, so I think he'll play with some of the "stars".
