Lionel Messi to me is still the best player in the World at the moment, despite a disappointing World Cup from him and Argentina.
I'm not the only one who thinks that the little man is the best:
He has just received the Golden Boot award for Europe's top scorer for scoring 34 goals that helped his Spanish club, Barcelona win La Liga again.
This is his 3rd award this year, as he has already been awarded FIFA player of the year and the Golden Ball as Europe's top player.
In doing so he joins an elite club of just 3 other players who all managed to receive these 3 rewards all in the same year, Marco Van Basten and the 2 Ronaldos.
Neither of these 4 however, were as good as George Best or Pele IMAO.
That's the thing about depression: A human being can survive almost anything, as long as she/he sees the end in sight. But depression is so insidious, and it compounds daily, that it's impossible to ever see the end.
The most important things to do in the world are to get something to eat, something to drink and somebody to love you.
