I really Love watching the Olympics I am Watching the Torch Relay Live right now been for a couple hours now.

I guess we can shear news results and winnings and loosing's here

Just seen this sad Story an athlete already hurt
Georgian luger seriously injured in luge crash - 2010 Olympics - Yahoo! Sports

And What teams are we cheering on for Germany and Canada for me!

I still dont quite understand why they had metal posts that close to the track. Surely an accident waiting to happen, and a needless death

Because its a Luge track its way up off the ground then lowers thats Normal the track it self should of been built higher the sides i mean.

Ah right well that explains it then. Watched the womens and mens luge and really enjoyed it. Heard the commentators say that since the accident the men started their runs off the women's start and the women used the junior start to try to reduce the speeds going round the final corner. Bit too late now but was a great competition and nice to see someone other than a german get a medal in the womens. Now just looking forward to skeleton and bobsleigh

Skeleton is like the luge, but you go down head first instead of feet first
