Default Fed up with life!

Not sure how this all works as first post I’ve ever done on first ever forum but am desperate to find some way of finding a way to enjoy life once more. Never felt as lonely and desperate as I do now, have had history of self harm which I’ve slipped back into but along with other stuff as well now and can only see it ending up going one way

Trust me to pick the site where it’s more or less all America, love America but time difference means probably not online at same time 😞

Hey Bboy, welcome to the forum. I am sure you will find your way around.

Sorry to hear about your self harm, and other things. We all find some way to deal with the shit we are going through, someway to ease the mind.

What do you like to do? Are you a outdoors person or indoors person?

Hi, thanks for reply..I’m definitely an outdoor person, it’s a good way of shutting or at least try to shut everything out by being on my own as have no one to turn to. Just can’t see that I make a difference to anyone’s life anymore so what’s the point? Life goes on with or without me.

That is very true yes, when you are out doors, you can be free. Why dont you go on a hiking trip, or go spend the day at a relaxing dam.

You dont feel like you are making a difference in someone's life, well there is a solution to that... Go out and make a difference in someone's life. Start small, do something positive for someone that you dont know, someone that needs the help. Even if it is to cross the street, or give a homeless person a sandwich.

There are plenty of things we can do on a daily basis that could make a difference in someone elses life, a difference that could possibly motivate them to cary on another day.

Yes life will go on with or without you, but hey you are still here so why not do something that could make you feel better. 🙂

Very well put and yes, these are good starts.

Bboy74, sometimes, doing something positive for someone else can be as simple as smiling or offering some words of reassurance. Been on both sides (giving and receiving), and it helps. And sometimes, going for a walk in the park helps a lot. Doesn't have to be huge and elaborate. The simplest of things can be quite helpful. Best of luck.
