I am also downloading the Beat of Windows 7 to test also.

See I have a Mac and have done since my first computer (Performa 5260). I am in a sick and distorted world where all of my friends use Windoze systems. I cannot tell you how much it sucks. In Australia, there is only a 6% Market Share for Mac's and I don't see why. Mac's are oh-so pretty and are a hell of a lot less buggy than XP and about 15x Faster than....than....God, I can't even bring myself to say it, it's so wrong. If anyone out there who has the same Mac-Lust as I do, then I urge you to support the one true OS and company that has been at the fore-front of the computer industry...Mac OS/X and Apple.

You can take my Mac when you pry my Cold, Dead fingers off my Mouse

Sorry, I have iFever

The mac OS ig good but that is because it is based on UNIX which flogs mac and windows in performance. The amount of money that a Mac cost I could build a system that could do more and perform way faster than a mac. The Mac use intel hardware now anyway and osx can be installed on a PC.

Linux and free unix variants such as FreeBSD are a more complete solution as the can be made to look pretty like a mac, perform better on lower end hardware and are free. I done hate Macs, but they are overrated and Mac ownership is like a zealous culture. I am a pretty hardcore computer nerd and have used computers since 1984 and has used almost every OS out there.

Macs are good, but not that good.

Not trying to start a flame war either lol.

I never met you and yet I know you,
at least I know much about you.
I know you need food, shelter
and things to do to keep you sane.
And I know that especially, you need someone . . .

I can't say that I am that someone,
but I am someone . . .

RS, I happen to disagree. Whilst I do know that a lot of the good points about Mac's are the fact that the OS is a UNIX development when you get down to the base source code. But other than that, I just think that they look a lot better than conventional computers. Sure manufactures like Sony and HP to some extent have put more of an emphasis on design, but I just don't think you can stop Apple, because of it's users.

If I had the money, well any money, I would probably spend it on Apple Tech. If I had the 3K (AUD) it cost's to get an entry level Macbook Pro I would definitely get that, rather than a higher spec notebook, purely because of the branding. I think I'm having an iProblem. I need iFord - The Rehab for Mac Addicts.

Aethetically the apple hardware is extremely nice, no arguements there. I think for myself being a power user, I prefer sytems that give me maximum control over everything, which unfortunately Apple does not allow. Gor the general user they are indeed an awesome machine. For a pure and unadulterated geek, they just don't cut the mustard. Looks aren't everything lol.

Although my Dell laptop does have racing stripes and my PC case is an Antec 900 lol.

Well, I'm into Graphic Design and Composing and the out-of-the-box programs you get with OS/X are amazing.

I've always preferred the Sonata's and the Lian Li's over Antec's....
