For realz, I have completed every quest :) (including all the DLC's)

Now I'm itching for Fallout: New Vegas.
I recommend you google New Vegas and read up on it if you're interested.
Obsidian entertainment is responsible for the game this time around, and they are introducing some stuff like Hardcore mode, which puts more survival aspects into the game.

The are using the same engine, so it's look very similar, but in the bright side it's coming out this year :)

Been playing Arkham Asylum a bit now, seems pretty fun. This is probably the first game where I feel that I could just explore, do all the sidequests like solving Riddler's things and not just rushing through it. I haven't really read the comics or anything so the character descriptions and interview tapes the game provides are interesting. And the combat is perfect to me, it's easy, smooth and looks fantastic. So much better than AS 2 fights to me.

I think Halo 3: ODST is an underrated game. I'm talking about the singleplayer campaign here. Sure, the story is short and not as epic as other halo campaigns, but I love the gameplay.

I love walking around alone as the rookie when it's dark, and looking for clues! The atmosphere is incredible, and with the soundtrack from Marty O'Donnell...it's just beautiful.

And then you have these awesome flashbacks, where you change role into one of the other squad members, and the gameplay is completely different. The flashbacks are fought in daylight, and the battles are always bigger with more allies, more enemies, generally more action. I love the flow in this game.

I also want to recommend you to check out the soundtrack.

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

yea also definitely can't wait. I heard about it announced awhile back but haven't really seen too much information on it. Not sure what is meant by hardcore though, I mean I'm playing fallout 3 on very hard and I find I have to be very careful when going anywhere. I wonder what the difference is.

Here is one forum where they have a pretty good overview of the game so far. Bethesda Softworks Forums -> General Discussion

Here is a thread from that forum called "what we've learned so far Thread #3"
What we've learned so far Thread #3 - Bethesda Softworks Forums

About hardcore: This is an optional mode. In hardcore mode:
* you must drink water to stay alive
* I'm not sure about food
* Ammo has weight
* Stimpacks and other healing heals over time, not instantly.
* You must visit a doctor to heal crippled limbs.

Another thing I'm excited about is the fact that they are putting a lot of effort into dialog to make it BETTER, skills will effect it more, and they are introducing a reputation system, which is separate from your karma system. You have different reputations in each location, and you can still have a good reputation despite a bad karma.

Another famous fallout forum, No Mutants Allowed: No Mutants Allowed - Your Post Nuclear News Center!

That really is a great game. Some of the best (and most satisfying) combat I've ever found in a game. I'm disappointed that the sequel has been pushed back.

Metro 2033 is awesome. This is a game where the atmosphere is the most rewarding imo.

The game is extremely linear but this is something the game needs to deliver this type of storytelling, and it works!
