Exclamation Earthquake Season?

Now I am a weather junkie. And I do know what causes an Earthquake. But I can't remember a time in my 43 years on this earth where we have been getting them just about everyday now. there was one again last night off the coast of Hawaii.

My concern is what in the heck is going on?

I mean since Haiti there must have been at least 10 quakes. And what if one were to hit Yosemite. That could trigger a mega volcano, as Yosemite is one of those super cauldron deals.

Scary times, me thinks.

I'm not really an expert but I'd take a guess that the tectonic plates might've moved a lot and now they're going into each other over and over again, but that doesn't sound..plausible.

The only explanation; 2012 is coming closer. ;)

Not really an expert on tectonic plate activity unfortunately, but it seems like there's same amount. Just media coverage is alot better nowadays maybe?

2015. Had some earthquakes around the world. Wonder if this is some cycle that the planet goes through? Period of increased tectonic activity, peaks and then quiets down. Not much we can do except try to prepare.
