Default Interview that will determine the rest of m life...

I was admitted to my backup plan for school last year, but my first choice program admits people this year. I applied and have an interview in two days. I'm extremely nervous and I don't want to screw this up. I can't be too bad at interviews if I was admitted to my other program last year, but i want to be as prepared as possible.

If anyone has any advice on what questions to ask and any tips, I would appreciate it so much. I was expecting more notice than a few days for this interview, so I would have more last minute preparation.

And if anyone that hires/interviews people has any advice on what they like to see in the people they interview, please let me know before Thursday afternoon. :)

They'll probably ask you about why you want to get into this program, and why you think you'll be successful at this program. They already know your academic history, so they've got a good idea as to whether or not you can get the grades for it, but your motivations... they have no clue.

So go in knowing what motivates you, and what qualities you possess that make you think you'll be successful in the program and in your career.

I'm basing this on the questions they asked me for my Personal Statement for grad school. Edited to apply to any field, they were:

1. When and how did you decide that you wanted to pursue in the field of <X>? Why are you interested in a career as a <X> professional?
2. Why do you believe you will be successful in this program?
3. What professional goals will this program help you attain?

There was another, but iirc you're headed into one of the hard sciences so it'd be pretty pointless. (I'm headed into library science. the question was "What does 'information science' mean to you?" But try asking that with "chemistry" in there and it's just funny.)
