the grandfather died
 
part of me died, and i never told him how much i love him.
days go by and you never see whats important
until they are gone. during the funeral, holding back the tears,
and now they flow, its like suffocating in them.
i was pretending to be strong, this is breaking me up;
the emptiness is overwhelming, the memories are haunting.

You are going through intense grief, and it is good that you are sharing it here. I wish you strength as you go through this dark time. There is no way to avoid it but just to go through it and you will come out on the other side of it.

thx z, I like your writing, its positive. there's no hope here anyway. before this life was complicated and felt very meaningless... the recent death is second in two months, all close family members. have no means to cope with so much added misery. :(
