new to the forum x
In the last year I have lost my baby brother and my grandad. These both happened within a few months of each other and just a week after my grandad's funeral I moved into my house at university.
I have been suffering with depression since I lost my nan 3 years ago, and although it was far from the first death that I have experienced in my life, it is without a doubt the one that effected me the most.
I have since been diagnosed with anorexia due to reactive depression.

Bye the way welcome to TTL
Perhaps talking here will help in some way.
I'm new too and I can feel for you. It really is hard.
I hope we all find peace.
hi ellaed, i too lost a close relative shortly before i moved to university. i tried to hide it away and cover up how i was feeling, and it did my no good whatsoever. this is a time to grieve, and you should grieve, and take comfort in your family. i did not, and i am still feeling the effects 5 years on. talkto people. the best help i got was talking to a friend whos mother had also died from cancer, a year latser, and a friend whos grandfather had died 2 year later. i was very drunkl both times, but any talking helps. there are people here who have gone through similar things, and talking really helps.
