Change your words - change how you feel
I found this and was inspired by it. I know for me that one of the biggest trigger for a depression episode is my defeating self-talk. I can attest to how hard it is to change this habit ... but I keep trying to chip away at it! Maybe I should make a big bright poster of this and hang it in my room???
Yeah the positive thinking thing can really help. Ive recently tried to start doing it. Its hard to change isnt it when we are all burning up with negative energy. But its worth the hard effort you put in. It wont happen over night cos its taken us our whole lifetime to get good at the negative talk so its gonna take awhile to reprograme. You might want to look up positive affirmations. I can recommend loiuse hay and her stuff some of her stuff is on youtube. Also NLP is great it stands for neuro linguistic programing. It all about our self talk and our deeply held beliefs.
