Ok I'm Back I made and lemon loaf this morning and i just made a lemon pie fill to go in the middle of it just going to let ir cool for a bit I cut the loaf loaf in half and will put the pie filling in there will be good my mom loves lemon stuff for her manly.

I love painting. I love the feeling of sitting back (after a shower) and admiring a job well done, lol.

Yesterday I prepped the walls by washing off what scuff marks (and even drip marks, ugh) I could. The landlord and the last owner really couldn't have cared less. When I first got here, the wall by the fireplace was peppered with yellowish spots - they'd tried to cover up some obvious marks but with a non matching colour and only in patches!

Upon closer inspection, the entire apartment is like that with paint that's a shade off - subtle, but enough to notice when you're living in it.

So the whole shebang needs to get sorted, lol. My MIL got two walls of the living room done before she ran out last week, so tonight we're repainting the whole thing. And then I can put the shelves back where they belong, yay! (It's been bugging me royally that they're huddled in the middle of the room!)
