I highly recommend it. I felt completely hopeless before going on it. It does make you tired and it increases your appetite a bit but it's worth it because it actually does clear things up and makes things more normal. Try it and you will see!

I am on Abilify,.and it has been a lifesavor for me,..literally,...I have tried to go off it with disasterous results,..
It stops my suicidal thoughts,..it stops me from obsessing about stuff in my life,..which in turn caused my depression to become out of hand,..It stops me from ruminating about things,..My mind is much more calm on Abilify,....I am on a small dose which is all I need,..
It may not be for everyone,..but it has changed my life for the better,...

I'm thinking about asking my Dr. about putting me on it! I've heard really good things about it and my paxil just isn't getting it anymore!

If it is that pricy I don't know how I will afford it tho :(

Well that's great that it worked for you, but every case is based on the individual.

I was on it and only got uncontrolled muscle movements.

It can be expensive,..even with insurance,..but,.I have seen decent prices on the internet and I think it comes in generic now...
I made the mistake of going off of it for about 5 weeks..and I was a basket case,..as soon as I went back on it,...I was fine,...I really think it is a wonderful medication,...

I am definately going to ask her about it! Thank you Jupes for your input!!

I am on medicaid atm...so I think they would cover it, I'm going to do some reading on it when I get off of here.

Sorry you had such a bad reaction to it Shock me Sane :( Your right everyone is different and you have to be careful when trying new medications....tis worth a try tho!

I am also a satisfied customer of abilify. I think I pay $45 for a 30day supply at 2mg per day, that is w/ insurance.

It really makes a huge difference.

Keep in mind it is meant to be used in conjunction with an AD when used to treat depression. I expect its efficacy has a lot to do with the AD you are on.

But it's really good stuff.
