Good you are doing this. Glad you are taking care of it .
I know the surgery and rehab will suck but we will be there
for support.

Surfcaster, take care of yourself! Sounds like you have a good doctor too! Keep us updated on your progress.

I had to give up my previous job at work because of a repetitive injury in my shoulder, it was the rotator cuff too. It was hard to do but I need to take care of my health.
Hang in There and get better!!!!

have my pre op appointment wednesday for my rotator cuff and i am now very nervous about going because judging by the large bulge in my arm and the new pain it looks like i tore the bicep muscle in the same arm, just my luck, i just don't know what this is going to mean, i know surgury is now going to be more extensive but is it one or now 2 separate surguries, all i can say is FUCK ME

surfcaster~Just try, know it's got to be difficult for yourself, to take things a day at a time. I'm sure, the doctor you're seeing will be able to figure out what's going to be the "best plan of action" for you & your recovery. Please just keep us updated. Hoping for the best, as I'm sure everyone else is here as well.

ok so somebody smack me and tell me to stop worrying and thinking ahead all anxious. went to the pre op appointment today and showed him the torn bicep and his reply was, cool, i was going to have to cut that to fix the rotator cuff and reattach it after anyway. thanks for all your support folks, much appreciated

tomorrow is surgury day and i am really nervous, couldn't sleep last night and probably won't tonight either. actually thought about canceling it but i know it needs to get done
