Default Sick of having all these conditions

I have high cholesterol that I take meds for. I have RLS (restless leg syndrome) that I take meds for. I just got home from the ER....more kidney stones! Taking meds for that. Sciatica, I take meds for that. Most of these stupid conditions are because of my Diabetes. I hate diabetes!! I'm so sick of injecting insulin every night, though I am thankful that I don't have to do it before meals. But still, it hurts.

I'm re-thinking gastric bypass. My diabetes will most likely be over. And my cholesterol will most likely return to normal. And I'm thinking it may help with my sciatica a little bit. Hopefully I'll be able to stand for a longer period of time. With all of these things, it's possible I might be able to hold down a job!

Just felt like ranting.

Good luck Mousey.

Trust me, even with all those conditions you have due to diabetes, in my practices on clinics, i saw so many people suffering from diabetes, who lost their limbs and such, due to it. Be grateful that your condition is relatively good, compared to how it could be.

Best wishes, you can fight it!

Thanks nsd. I'm very grateful to only have a few mild complications due to my diabetes. Last year I thought about gastric bypass but decided against it. My husband didn't like the idea either. But now we both are reconsidering. I'm only 36 and so I should be able to get all this under control.

I'm going to give up my iced tea and just drink water. Last time I did that I lost 10 lbs. This time I hope to lose more. I can do this!!

I work with someone that had that procedure done
and wow what a difference it made. He has more
energy seems like a new person. Moves around
so much better. Drinking water is always good
so is cutting out sodium. Sodium is really bad
especially with diabetes. Frozen food is the worst
even those so called healthy dinners are loaded
with it . You are right you can do this. Wish you
the best.

We'll see what we can do, we'll get it under control.

I'm trying to eat better pixy, this week I bought oranges, grapes, bananas, and yogurt. I haven't cut back on the tea though, I want to, just haven't yet. I need to buy a thing of waters and some propel packets but we won't have the money to do even that until next month. Maybe I can use my own water. As long as it's really cold it just might work. Something to think about. Thanks for caring.

Had a visit to the ER again tonight, err, last night. I have a kidney infection. I just can't win! I'm wondering if my kidney problems have anything to do with the diabetes. Hmmm.

Infections aint related to diabetes, because diabetes itself doesnt weaken immune system, it slightly impacts kidneys, but not enough for it to cause infection, but help, yes.

Just be careful what you drink and eat and follow the treatment.
