Potatoes, gooseberries and gogi berries are in this group too.

I cut out tomatoes (breathing difficulties) and am cutting back on potatoes, I was noticing some breathing difficulty with peppers as well, so I'll probably add nightshades to my dietary restriction list.

I'm also sorry to hear this. I suffer with a more sever case of Fibromyalgia. A few thing, besides what others have suggested, that may help you. Make sure you get plenty of sleep-like 8 hours at least. Eat heathier foods and stay away from things high in sodium, salt, or sugar. In my case, at least, it's makes everything feel worse and harder for me to move around. Humidity and dampness also effect me; personally. My understanding, it affects alot of people striken with this as well. The Mayo Clinic, can find there website, also has a ton of information on this as well. If you want, I'll can post their website here, just let me know.

Please remember, it's what I like to refer as a "workable issue." If you need any other help or information, just let me know. I've had this for over 3 plus years. There are ways to make yourself feel a little better.

I have been getting nerve blocks (lidocaine/sensocaine) plus intravenous lidocaine weekly ... many of the nerve blocks do work ... especially on the upper tender points ... I also suffer from myofacial pain syndrome and find the nerve blocks extremely helpful for this ... you must let the doctor know the exact spot for injection. As far as the weekly iv it works on many of the fibromyalgia tender points but it only lasts for a limited time (for me 3 days) .... I still have been unable to find a solution to end all the pain (how wondrous that would be!) ......in the case of the nerve blocks they are only able to put so much drug into your system, so although they are relieving some of the pain it is never all of the pain. If you have less numerous tender points than I would say this is a good way to go. In my journey battling fibromyalgia since 1996 I have tried any and all methods brought to my attention ... I think Double Rainow if they are offering this type of treatment than you should try it and see how it works for you .... if it is of no value than move on to the next suggestion ..... it is truly the only way to try to fight this debilitating disease .... on your own and with great perseverance ... nobody, other than us, your cohorts can truly understand the pain and isolation this miserable disease is capable of!!!!!

Thanks saltyrose for sharing.

It's just when I think about getting poked in the same place once or so a week for what may be for a very long time, it makes me so uneasy and even nauseous, and I feel like fainting every time I try to even think about this option.

I am just so terrified of needles. People expect me to just 'get over it' and that I should try anything if I am in such constant pain... but fuck that. I don't want to put myself through that constantly.

Am I wrong for thinking that?
