You know, something else just came to my mind. Have you been tested for a parasite? That could make you more hungry than usual, and cause fatigue and maybe the headache too. Just a thought...

Carbonation does cause increased absorption now that I think of it. But hunger is a brain thing too. Just a reaction to hormones the brain produces. Can't remember if it's the hypothalamus or pituitary....

A parasite isn't too likely if you have stayed away from dirt and uncooked meat though...and there are more symptoms with those. Drastic loss of weight.

But hunger as in you continue to eat without feeling full or you are hungry right after you eat?

Also it's more fiber that makes you feel full. Carbs, depending on the starch in them, are what make you feel tired.

Caffeine, nicotine, and other stimulants are known to decrease appetite. Seeing a doc sounds like a good suggestion.

Avoiding sugar is said to help stop cravings and even things out. Sometimes I've stocked up on cans of green beans, just to have something available to fill the void.
