SC,

I just wanted to post this, so incase you'd ever get concerned or have a question(s), you'd have it listed here! I hope it helps!

What Is "Normal" Blood Pressure?

There are several categories of blood pressure, including:

Normal: Less than 120/80
Prehypertension: 120-139/80-89
Stage 1 hypertension: 140-159/90-99
Stage 2 hypertension: 160 and above/100 and above
People whose blood pressure is above the normal range should consult their doctor about methods for lowering it.

I'm not a medical professional, but my mom is, and I love medical stuff, so I've learned a little about this kind of thing. Your readings seem pretty good, if a little on the low side. Your diastolic reading (the low one) is actually very normal. The systolic reading is definitely below average, but I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. In fact, it might actually be a good thing, I don't know. I think the diastolic reading is the one that you would have to be more concerned about and far as having low blood pressure goes. Just make sure you get your blood pressure checked next time you go to the doctor to find out for sure.

Most people with blood pressure problems have hypertension (too much pressure in the blood vessels), but hypotension (too little pressure) can also be a problem. If you begin to feel weak or dizzy on a somewhat frequent basis, then go to the doctor. Honestly, I really don't think you have anything to worry about, though.
