Default It's really easy to make dog biscuits!

Heyo! Did you know that it's really easy to make dog biscuits? I don't like how many preservatives there are in store bought ones, can't be good for our babies! So I make my own and dogs love them! So cheap to make too.

I start off with this base recipe:
2 cups self raising flour (I try to use gluten free). You may need more flour if your dough is too sticky.
1/2 cup oats
1/2 - 1 teaspoon of stock (I use chicken or beef generally but you can use any type) with 1/2 cup of water
Pinch of salt
1 egg

Then I'll flavour it up, some successful combos I've made are:
chicken (in a can lol), green beans, bacon
Tuna, zucchini
Garlic (it's good for dogs in small doses), carrot, bacon
Carob, peanut butter (no aded auger or salt type - peanut butter is also good for dogs in small doses!), carrot. I've also tried this with a honey lazy but the honey burnt, was still good tho cos the dogs didn't complain lol

Make sure you knead the dough lol. I use cute cookie cutters. Then put in the oven for 200 degrees Celsius for about 30 mins, flipping the biscuits over halfway. They should turn out real crunchy :)

Won't let me edit my post on my phone. Typos:

Honey lazy = glaze lol

I keep meaning to make some biscuits for our pair. A lot of recipes i find have peanut butter in them. Also going to do some frozen treats for the summer months. Your presentation of the biscuits is sweet.
