Default Anyone have experience with non-epileptic seizures?

Its pretty much what the title says.

After treating me for two years for what my neurologist thought was epilepsy he is now suspecting non-epileptic seizures, which means its psychological not physiological.

I have no idea how this is treated, I'm guessing its the old open your mouth and I'll chuck a handful of pills at you and see what gets in scenario and some CBT, but I just want to talk with other people in a similar boat.

No I've been treated for the last two years as having temporal lobe seizures but today my neurologist said that it may be misdiagnosed because my EEGs have come back normal have the time and with seizure activity the rest of the time but not enough to conclusively say it's epilepsy. Also he said some of the seizures I've had don't fit epileptic ones. So I guess I'm more asking about non epileptic seizures in terms of some kind of conversion disorder or bipolar rather than something to do with medication

sorry jenagade my best advice would be to talk to your doctor about it more in depth, some other members might know about temporal lobe seizures but sorry no knowledge in that department for me
