Back in the 80's I had a Commodore 64 and I loved every minute of it, took forever to load a game in but still...it was good.

i used to love to try do the programming as well, had books to copy from it and half the time it never worked lol.

Had the same, and the Amiga afterwards. On the 64 we had a booklet noting load times of all the games. Took my first steps in programming too, my advanced studies were in pure math, chemistry and computing, though I never finished the courses.

Friend had the Spectrum and my cousin the older Atari.

Not got any now, but miss many of the old games, simpler and more pure fun than those made now. Not quite there, but dosbox is definitely worthwhile now.

One of the few nostalgia for me happy memories
