I got a glimpse into the hell that you are being put through.

Hell is other people.

I was watching this black conservative on the radio. I like him even though I don't agree with everything he says, especially when it comes to women and religion. But he's a hero because he's the only one among the gaggle of leaders that is doing a damn thing for my race, in a tangible, practical manner. Honestly, if I could talk to him, I would ask him why the hell he even bothers. After all, I am going to become an accountant and continue being semi-isolated from filthy humans and I'm not looking back. Anyway, about four or five black voices ganged up on me. They said I was lampooning black people and laughing at the liberal guests on the show. They started baiting me to get mad so they could call me The Angry Black Woman. It's not that serious but it was very overwhelming to confront so many "people," especially when one of them started acting like this elderly dignitary and trying to put me in my place.

On top of that, the guy doesn't even work and he gets paid for doing next to nothing. You can talk to the higher ups, expressing your collective discomfort and they give you bull excuses about why they "can't" do anything. But the most irritating thing is how they then talk all this crap about "teamwork" and are quick to judge you when you don't display a "good" attitude.

I've been criticized all my life for my mentality about other people but how the hell do people pretend things like these don't happen?

Why work hard there?

Do you have good credit? Do you think you could take out loans to go back to school?

I don't know.

I do have good credit but can't go back to school because I have bills to pay and school doesn't even make a difference anyways. You spend time and money in it just to go get a job and be denied for being overqualified.

Then don't work hard! It's just retail. Do as little as you can get away with.

Start by relaxing at work and taking things in stride. No more hard work for peanuts. Hard work doesn't bring success or happiness per se because it's the people at the bottom who work the hardest, like those in the steel mills and coal mines.
