Default What are your OCD habits?

I've never been diagnosed with OCD, but I know I have it. My habits drive me crazy. Everything has to "match" and be perfect. I have to do my nails every week. My nails all have to be the same shape and length. I stare and my hands otherwise and it's all I can think about. Likewise, my hair has to be even and my eyebrows have to look the same. If I mess something up on one side, I'll mess up the other side so it's all the same. LOL

Other things include me constantly straightening up at work. I'm messier at home, but I must keep things in order at work. I probably use hand sanitizer too much, even though I'm not really worried about germs. When I have a problem, I think about it nonstop. I really do obsess over every little thing.

Anyone else want to share?

I am not dianosed with OCD, but one of the things that I am always doing is counting...my steps..the seconds on the clock, I pretty much count everything.

OCD is part of bipolar disorder, so I guess I have officially been diagnosed with it. I'm on a med for it which helps, but still, little things can set me off. Like, if I see a candle holder crooked on the counter, I fix it then can't settle down until I clean the whole house. It sucks, but hey, at least the house stays clean. lol

Oh my, iris - i do the same thing. I thought I was alone in that. I count my steps mostly, but other things, too. I'm glad that I'm not the only one.

you know, the more I think about it (which can't be a good thing), when I'm on the forum, I can't stand it if any of the boxes are checked. I like all of the red cross thingys to be white and no posts unanswered. it makes me feel better. could this be an ocd trait?
