Is anyone taking Effexor for OCD?

Has it benefitted you and how has it helped?

What do you have then? And what were the side effects that were so bad? (Besides the wired/zombie effect)

What are you on now?

when i first started taking it i didnt eat or sleep for three days. i no longer felt happiness ever, most of the time i felt hollow, half sad but impossible to feel anything more. it just sucked. i was on it for like 2 months.

i quit it cold turkey one day, i just decided to. im not on anything now and i feel better than i did.

Oh okay, thanks. What are you suffering from then? If turns out you can be without meds?

Quit cold turkey, at what dosage?

Did you get those brain-zaps/shocks from doing that?

Hmm... I see.

Are you sure you were taking Effexor?

Because there's no 60mg, as far I know, for Effexor.

There's 25, 37.5, 50, 75, 100mg for Non-Extended Release,

and 37.5, 75, 150mg for Extended Release (XR).

That may have been the reason it wasn't working for you - you may not have been taking Effexor.

Perhaps you want to check with your doctor?
