Not into to the new metal so much...

I do love Black Sabbath, and older 70's/80's type metal. The only recent stuff I like is by Otep.

And I love horror movies! Gorey, ghosts, zombies, beasts, crazy killers...^_^ I love it all!

I like Viking metal. Amon Amarth ftw. Turisas is awesome too. :) Nightwish, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil are good as well.

Viking metal? I like me a bit of Enslaved myself. And early Satyricon (I like some later stuff, though it isn't Viking). And of course, a bit Bathory.

I dont drink but Indeed that is the point to listening to burzum, for the dark, bleak world it brings you...I find much comfort when sucked into the music of Varg Vikernes...March 8 2010 he has a new burzum album coming out Belus I believe it is called...

Yeah I heard he was making a new one. I'm trying not to get my hopes up (Jon Nodveigt of Dissection was in jail for ten years and released Reinkaos when he got out, which was shit) but still, I really want to hear it.

As a sidenote, what did you think of the synth albums? Daudi Baldrs was a bit crap but I really like Hlidskjalf. There was some great stuff on there, it would be awesome to hear it re-recorded with a decent instrument rather than the crappy keyboard he had to use when he was in prison.

I only heard Daudi Baldrs as synth albums go and one song on it was good I forget which. But I haven't really had the ambition to listen to Hlidskjalf yet. But if you want to hear a synth album you shhould try ildjarn's Hardangervidda

Mmm, I might do, when I was listening to a lot of black metal I quite liked Ildjarn. Very raw, but cool if I was in the right mood. Have you listened to Sort Vokter? It was another project Ildjarn was involved in. You should check out Hlidskjalf, way better than Daudi Baldrs.
