What do I do about...?

This is a discussion on What do I do about...? within the Male Issues forums, part of the Life's Other Challenges category; I'm not exactly sure what to do? I don't know if I just let it keep growing or start shaving ...

I'm not exactly sure what to do? I don't know if I just let it keep growing or start shaving or what. I'm 16 and right now it all looks like a mini jungle. I've read about risks that come with shaving like ingrown hairs and stuff which makes me even more indecesive. And even though it doesnt matter to me now, what do girls prefer? What I am I supposed to do?

FYI: I'm clumsy so idk if I should use anything sharp down there.

My advice is that you should trim it. Just get scissors & trim it as much as you're satisfied with.

lol whats up Hound. Alright man, at the age of 12 I started growing my mini jungle. I got scissors and cut it all off, and the hairs were poking me and it was uncomfortable. I then tried to cut it again when I was 17. I shaved it all off without shaving cream which was a bad idea.... I basically got a rash Lol. I didnt get any in grown hairs though. I now just get my trimmer and trim it with a 1. I leave it pretty short cause I like it that way.

You can use any scissors. As long as you know how short you want it. Also, I cut the little hair that I do have on my sack. I make sure not to point it toward my balls though Lol. I line it up with the bottom of my sack and then snip. Good luck man, hope you dont hurt yourself lol.

I'd suggest this too even though I shave. Sometimes when shaving you can start to bleed, so then you also get pimples. I really need to let mine grow again lol.

Trimming is the best option, yes. I would think shaving your balls would be wise to go along with trimming.

What I do now is get some scissors and trim... just do that. And yeah you get bumps and pimples if you shave. This happened to me I think. It went away though, after a month

You should see a doctor for in growing hairs. Also, I think most women prefer pubes.
