When my girlfriend and I first started dating, she invited me back to hers on our second date (she has since said she wasn't planning to, it just happened). I wasn't ready, and told her that. She even commented at the time "I've never had a guy turn down sex before." She seemed so let down, which is kinda flattering lol. I had to wait a bit longer until I was ready, and I'm glad I did.
I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be the star in somebody else's sky...
But why can't it be mine?

I wish I had that problem, but I only turned down sex once in my life and it was because I was too tired to carry out the deed.
This was years ago and I haven't had any since 2004. and frankly its put me into a severe depression I rarely get out of (the lack of sex not the turning down).

Hmm I turned sex down the other day, me and my girlfriend have been going out for a while. But it just didn't feel right, tried to explain myself. She seemed surprised. I'm a virgin at 20 years old, just didn't want it to mean nothing. Hate the fact most guys are after sex, when I'd much rather just laugh and cuddle.

not gonna lie... sure there is a HUGE difference between meaningless sex and true passionate, endearing sex... i have had both... and i have never experienced anything as physically enthralling as it is emotionally as the pasionate sex... and i know i'm lucky to have had such...

but as for the meaningless... well... i'm not a womanizer nor will i simply fuck anyone... however... i'll be honest... sex feels good... use protection and get your fuck on.... (as long as it is clearly consensual.... )

sorry for being crude... but the best sex i've ever had was with a woman who eventually tore my heart out... so does that mean what i thought was passionate was meaningless? hmm...
I am what I am.

I have turned down sex several times. Not usually with someone I am dating, but sometimes I have. When it was some woman I knew who wanted to hook up, I turned them down. Not sure why looking back, but I did. Just trying to follow some moral code.
