While there are things that women may get away with there are also things men may get away with. After all men have oppressed women for thousands of years, right? That still isn't an excuse for any bad behavior on their part. Just because we are guys doesn't give us an excuse for bad behavior either.
Both sexes and people and they should treat others as people as well and be equal. Easier said than done, I know, but that is life. Both sexes have our bad points and places where we get "get out of jail for free card".

That's a fair response zets. I agree with you. Now can any women agree with it?

Well we shall see if any women agree with it or not.
By the way you know I am not the kind of person to dock someone just because they disagree with me so don't worry bout' speakin' your mind.
Just thought I might make that clear so I seem less like a MP and more like your friendly (slightly crazy) neighborhood police man.

Both sexes have thier bad points. The point I'm making is I think alot ofthose points are the same points. That there isn't that much difference at all. But there seems to be a consesnus of opinion that in judging by appearance this is soley a male trait and I think nothing could be farther from the truth.

Tiggrr I would agree with that last statement...
I think that men are expected to be the ones that think about certain stuff more... but it's been proven not to be true... They don't think about certain things 7x/minute or hour, whatever... it's much more = to how often women think about it...
so based on that fact, I can see that men are expected to think/do/act a certain way, and they don't necessarily... it's just stereotype... women do it too... I see that...

It always seems to me that there is a double standard when considering appearances. I think men get judged just as harshly for their appearance as women, by women, as women by men, but if you say anything it's no no no no, We never do that. I've yet to meet a woman who will admit that appearances are important to them.
I agree with you that men get judged as harshly for their appearance as women. Females are just as inclined to go by looks as anything - at least at first. But in the end, females usually end up with guys that they find something deeper in than just looks. I think men do the same thing - the arm candy female soon becomes blah compared to the female who really trips his trigger in other ways.

We are all about looks, too, no matter what we say. But we do (as you do) finally give it up for more substantial stuff.
