It's more complicated than that, but this is the first time I've considered ED a possibility. I live with my girlfriend of almost two years and for the last several months my sex drive has gotten worse and worse. Today it feels like it's almost completely gone.

It's possible some of that is just the relationship. I had a previous relationship that followed a similar pattern. I might be be a classic case of internet porn destroying my intimate life, but lately I've been increasingly disinterested in porn as well. I'll maybe browse porn or some other sexuality explicit websites a couple times a week but usually get bored and move on to something else.

Lately when I'm intimate with my girlfriend I feel like I have to force myself into action. The last two times I just, uhh, pleased her. One time I never became erect, the other time I got about half way there for a minute or so. Both times I declined any reciprocation from my girlfriend, mostly because I just wasn't interested.

At first I thought it was psychological, and that something was inhibiting my sex drive. But after these last two times (doing a sexual act without becoming physically aroused at all) makes me wonder if there's a biological problem, too.

Over the last 2-3 years I've gain a significant amount of weight, and recently noticed my blood pressure is higher than normal. I know obesity and cardiovascular issues can be associated with ED. Been working on the weight for awhile but frankly feel pretty hopeless about it.

Seeing the doctor might be tough for now, don't have the best insurance. Not sure what to do in the meantime. My relationship is not in jeopardy, but I know this has been difficult for my girlfriend.

The dysfunction, weight gain and hypertension might be related. Key word "might." Could be low testosterone, vitamin deficiency, or half a dozen other things. You really need to have some blood work done to see what's going on. I'd be most concerned about the blood pressure.
