So in other words, act like you've done it before and they'll be afraid you'll do it to them... only problem is I hate intimidating people. I HATE HATE HATE all those people that tried to intimidate me.

Ah but Anastassia, I'm not sure if he's suggesting actual physical intimidation per se. Perhaps he's suggesting a simple way to supplement the achievement of respect from peers.

Who knows? The guy is no longer with us anyways :P

Hmmm, I think I figured it out: Sit like that ready to attack but with a smile... but don't try to intimidate; just have that posture so you can more easily defend yourself...

Yes! Also I think it is a deflective tactic. As one who has "conquered," I would assume there usually is no sense of further threat and a higher sense of confidence and security without having to threaten or attack :)

So in a conquered state of mind there could be much apparent and internal ease in not necessarily feeling threatened, and not necessarily feeling a need to threaten
:D

Yeah, that point too, the no need to attack bit. But sometime there are things you can't control that just come at you that you have to deflect, but with positivity, not negativity.

Definitely! There is a range of ways to handle a situation, and positivity will definitely get the job done in many regards. Funny thing though, is I've been positive in the past and people have mistaken it for weakness.

Nothing is more frustrating than misunderstanding
