irishred and aries you 2 truely are a wonderful people. This place would not be the same without you. God how I need you folks in my life. You always know the right things to say. Godbless you for the hoildays.

I will get another baby after the hoildays are over with. Right now they want too much for shih tzu's. I'm starting a new job on the 20th. So I'm saving me pennies for a pooh. ( Get it Pennies for a Pooh ) I know cheezy joke

New job yeah!!!!!!!!!!

Your stories really touch my heart.
I never had a pet, oh, a goldfish but that does not count.
My brother was allergic to everything so we had to be very careful.

Now I am allergic to cats, dust, etc... so, no pets.

I think it would be nice to have a furry friend who gives unconditional love. And leaves the toilet seat down.

well ive had a long line of animals... firsti had a chihuaha called Rosie, and it got cancer so had to be put down,
then 3 dogs, a chihuaha and 2 whippets called Eli, Pushkin and Lara (didnt choose the names btw) Eli died a few years ago,
and the whippets i grew up with as a brother and sister, and i mean that literally, they treated me as another dog and my mom always says that they treated me as if i was one of theirs, but one of them had to be put down as he was 16 - old for a dog, then the other whippet gave up because she didnt like life without him, and also 16 we had to put her down when she started fitting... lol i still cry when i think about it and typing it now...
then i had 4 rats- all died of old age, but i loved em and thats why i have another 2,
then we had a pug called daisy... she was already old when we got her - 14 and we had her 2 years before she had kidney failure and had to be put down last year.
but despite all the pain of them dying, i still want to get another lab soon because i HATE not having a dog!

I have thought about getting another dog but then I end up feeliing so guilty I tell myself it would be a companion for my poodle Danny and nothing else. I felt like I was acting as though Sparkey never exsisted and I don't want that
