Unhappy Holidays are so hard ... Let's hug each other

Lost my Mom this year. It's REALLY hard to have Christmas coming.

I thought I'd share my pain, but also share a hug with all of you who lost your loved ones and are hurting too.

Because maybe our pain won't be so bad if we know we aren't alone.

I dont know if this is an insult, but I can never seem to get over the death of my pet rabbit. I really miss her, and wished i had more time with her now i know that im suffering with a lot at the moment.

The Holidays are really hard for me too and all I've lost is a marriage.
I keep thinking back to happier times.

So sorry about your mother Lady.

That is NOT an insult. Our pets love us unconditionally ... unlike people. I'm so sorry for your loss ... let me know her name.

Thanks Ghost ...
Losing a marriage is messier than death, it isn't as "clean," and there's lots of other things that can haunt you.

I'm so sorry for your loss! Is this your first Christmas alone? How are you making it through?

As Christmas draws closer, it just gets harder and harder. I keep wanting to crawl into a closet and make everyone go away.

There's an empty part of me this year.

It was bugsy, a rabbit with beautiful pink eyes. I found her dead, her eyes were grey, she looked as if she was sleeping. i used to sit at her cage and she would look back knowing i was sad. no one can replace her

Hugs for all those of you who have lost. I've lost most things in life, son, pets, job. Everything it seems, except my sanity. And I wish it would go away too so I could stop this sober life of losses sometimes.
