Default Grieving loss of my best friend,

So um hello everyone who reads this...Anyways um My best friend since I was basically born well just call him Josh had a 2 year battle with cancer and we went through everything together we told each other everything he was the only person I could fully trust died just a few weeks ago, I was visiting him in the hospital and he looked happy 'cuz the doctor told him he would make it, and he died right after he gave me a hug he went to sleep and never woke up so Ive been really depressed for a few weeks now and ive been having breakdowns during school my parents want me to go to a therapist to help me but I already went and he told me I would get over it so I need someone to talk to if your great at listening and want a new friend...just pm me 'cuz I can't keep all this in any longer.

Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position.

Hello spidercookie, so sorry for your loss. I hope you feel comfortable to talk here on TTL, we are here to listen and some of us have had losses too. I lost my son last year.

It's good to talk. I'm in a similar situation to you - my best friend died of Leukemia 3 years ago. I'd like to try and help you out by listening, it's the least I could do at this horrible time for you.
