I've read someplace that accomplishing objectives, both short term and long term, helps lift depression and gives one a sense of purpose and hope. So, I would like to propose that everyone in this forum identify one thing, unrelated to their depression or suicidal thoughts, that they can work toward accomplishing. It can be as simple as "I will get out of bed every morning" or as complicated as figuring out which goal to tackle first.
I couldn't have said it better. Few things feel as good as accomplishing a goal. We encourage you to tell us about your goal in a new topic
and keep us up to date on your progress (or lack thereof).
As you can see, members are extremely supportive of one another. Whatever your goal is, you don't have to go at it alone.
