Smile So far, so good

Hey everyone! I'm sorry that I haven't been here since last year! I have recently learned to stop complaining (which is working wonders in my life, though I vent occasionally). I decided to go on a diet, as well as go to bed early, and I have resumed attending the psychosocial clubhouse. I'm starting to think that my depression might be a sleep-derived problem. But I'm doing much better than before, thank goodness.

Hello IAA! It's been a while, that's true. I think you are onto something important about needing sleep. I find that sleep is one of the hardest things for me to get right and if it's not, I don't feel too good. It plays a part in depression for sure. Fitness seems to also factor in. I have a friend who highly recommends following the advice of the diet tailored to your blood type, though I haven't tried it yet. I'd offer that I lose more weight and feel better when I include more raw vegetables in my diet such as a broccoli and dip lunch instead of a sandwich. Being more positive in what we say is also good. You sound like you are on the way to a better feeling life!
