Default Opening my own business

About a year ago, a good friend and I started discussing where I want to go with my life. I shared my dreams of owning my own business, providing services to the disabled, and providing a level of care virtually unknown. Well, thanks to his business expertise, and my passion, we are making it happen. We're hoping to open Oct. 1st, but by the latest it will be Christmas. We're just waiting on state approval at this point. Wish us luck!

GOOD LUCK! :D :D

You will do well. There are so many people that need the kind of care that you will be offering. Can you tell me more about your plans?

Thank you all for the words of encouragment and support.

Iris, my work is my passion, so I'll be more than happy to share. We will start by offering supported living and supported employment. Supported living, we assist our clients with paying bills, managing doctor's appointments and medical issues, and that type of thing. Supported employment...we assist the client in finding a job in the community, train them on their job, and work with their employer with any problems they may be having on the job, scheduling, and that sort of thing.

There are too many people in this business just for money. The money is just an added benifit to me. Well, working for another company I dont' make squat, but when I open my own, the financial gain will be tremendous, but we will offer a level of care based on our passion and compassion for our clients, which seems to be lost with other companies such as this.
