Here is one of my theories...ok so some psychologist says it's theirs, but I came up with it first.
It is easy to get comfortable in our dismal situations. I think sometimes we try not to see the positive things in life because being depressed is our comfort zone. A good friend helped me realize that I wasn't doing anything to make my situation better, because I was more comfortable being miserable. It's kinda ironic, but it's true.
I try to wake up everyday and think of at least one good thing that is going on in my life, and I try to focus on that the entire day. My positive thing for today...my friend from Arizona will be here in about 3 hours. :)
