Default it hard

overcomming those thoughts and ways can tend to be really hard.you just have to be ready to make the change and learn new ways to cope with those thoughts.i just decided that i wanted to change.i started to write poetry again to let those feelings out so i don't end up doing something to myself yet again and it really seems to be helping me.

i just realized that i will be missing out on alot.you know if i were to kill myself i would just miss out on alot.i wouldn't be able to go to the club or see myself making something of myself and proving to everyone that i'm not a screw up and i can accomplish something without the help of my family.

that is awesome. so your "will" to live was based on what you could see as a future for yourself instead of dwelling on the past, right? that takes a lot of strength, which you obviously have. and proving to everyone that you are not a screw up is basically for YOU to prove to yourself that you're not....you already know you aren't. maybe you do have to prove it to them, but as long as you feel good about you, that's the key.

you will be a great model for others' on here and a great encouragement!!

things do get better.i think you just need to find a way to make your life better and don't dwell on the past always look into the future.

Default way to go -

yes if you find what YOU like to do and try to find ways to deal with the hurt pain it can be a great way to heal. Dwelling on it makes life harder.
My mother had to have her left bottom leg amputated this summer- do to diabetic - trouble- and she is amazing-. she has her days of course- but she says she doesn't want to dwell on being depressed.
So she does her exercises and she does things to make her happy.
I say she is my hero. :D
So way to go girl - don't let the darkside win- .
