Default My roommate didn't pay the power bill

Never in my life, have I had to deal with this. It's a disconnect notice. Idiot left the country today. I found this on the table.... when I got home. I texted him cause he on route. Merry fuckin Christmas to me. He said he'll take care of it when he gets back. He wanted me to talk to the power company but the bill under his name.. I told him to take care of it. Btw....idk when he's coming back

Wow, TooMuch, that's a cold blow. No pun intended since it is winter and that's your power bill, but that sounds like someone who doesn't care and probably won't pay. I'm sorry to hear this! Are you able to make it alright without power or get it changed over to your name? Sometimes you can start up the bill and get a little grace period for payments. I'm not at all sure how the power industry works in your province.

Thanks, idk what to do. I think he will pay when he gets back. Funny thing is under his dads name. Guessing he'll be back 1st week in January. I might try to look for flashlight and some kind of generator or something....just in case.

Wow, TooMuch, that's no fun. Yes, you can DO it, people have lived without power for thousands of years, but the sudden change isn't very comfortable. I'm sorry to hear it.

Thanks. Currently still have power. Tired of the bullshit with him. Hoping he'll take care of it in January.
