a few hours ago i was trying to sleep but couldn't. So i turned on my computer and started to read all the conversations i had in the past five years with my friends on MSN, Skype, Facebook, and forums. and i realized that i am always the one who starts the conversations. the only times when my "friends" start a conversation with me is when they need some help and they can't find anyone else to help them.

There's nothing wrong with you. A lot of people aren't true friends. If you have one true friend you're rich for life. A lot of people just use people and don't care for one another unless they can get something out of them. I would either address the issue or ditch most of these so-called friends.

You might be right. but what if the reason why they don't start a conversation with me is because they see me as a shadow friend?
