Default Premature menopause vs depression

I need some opinions here, I've got a lot of health stuff going on at the moment which is sort of pointing in the direction of menopause - only problem is I'm 29, so its a little f*n early, I'm seeing an endocrinologist this week so hopefully she can shed some light on the situation but I wanted feedback from someone who is also going through it. What are the mood swings/mental health symptoms like with premature menopause, or even just menopause, I'm only specifiying premature because I've heard that it can present differently. Is it distinguishable from depression/anxiety symptoms? The only reason I ask is that my depression and anxiety have been completely under control for the last 2 years and it started creeping back in, I'm having some wicked mood swings and I'm just generally more emotional than I have been but it feels a lot more irrational and unpredictable than my standard depression, normally I can at least figure out what set me off to begin with, but these seem to come out of nowhere even when I'm just relaxing or doing nothing stressful that should get me worked up

Sorry to hear you're feeling down. I know the feeling. This does sound very early for menopause or peri-menopause. You are not officially in menopause until you haven't had a period for one year. But I was just reading that it can start in the 30's to 50's age range.
I'm 50 and started irregular periods 2 years ago. Hot flashes for several months and then they disappeared for almost a year, but came back even stronger with extreme moodiness. I had a short temper with everyone. Not yelling, but just Very easily annoyed. I couldn't sleep for more than 1-2 hours at a time.
What are your symptoms? Do you feel comfortable sharing them? It could be related to your hormones or it could be something else. You may be feeling it because of having all the other health problems going on. That sounds like enough to make someone feel more depressed for sure!
I have depression, but I can definitely tell the peri-menopause symptoms that are apart from the depression. I am also feeling more depressed lately, but I have had some other events happen that are dragging me down.

I've been sick for a few years now with GI problems, but they have been caused by medication I was taking for (misdiagnosed) seizures. Don't get me started on that novel, its a nightmare, but the short of it is the health problems I have at the moment start 5 years ago and are either something hormonal or neurological. I have regular night sweats, every night, and they are completely drenching maybe 2-3 times a week, I can get to sleep fine but I wake up about 2 hours later and then I sleep in bouts of 30 mins - 1hr, extremely fatigued, but the stuff that has me and my Drs suspecting premature menopause, apart from the night sweats, is that my period, which has been really heavy in the past, has gotten light to the point it has almost stopped and its been getting lighter for the last 8 months, I'm moody as hell, usually easily irritated, and I'm having lots of mood swings and periods of heightened anxiety that I can't attribute to anything. It seems different to my normal depression and anxiety symptoms, normally when I'm getting bad I don't have days where I feel fine and normal, I just spiral down and there is little fluctuation, but what I'm getting at the moment is small spells, lasting no more than a day at a time, the I go back to normal for a few days, but when they do happen I seem to swing to the extreme of either irritability, depression or anxiety.

Since my original post I've seen an endocrinologist but shes pretty stumped at what it could be too. Its pretty frustrating.
